We had the opportunity to go to Versailles twice! Once while our dear friends Dave and Connye were here, and again when Mom and Cal were here. The palace is located outside of Paris and involves a train ride to get there. The visit is pretty much an all day affair, by the time you ride the train, wait in line for tickets and try to see everything! Exhausting, but as you will see - very worth it!

p.s. I thought about writing a bit of the history of the palace...but there is too much. I was able to find a lot of info online.

Great pictures! How fun that you guys got to go twice! ! This was one of my favorite places that we visited. We almost got locked inside...we were out at the reflecting pool and didn't know they were closing! Good times! :)
