Trip to London

When Mom and Cal planned their trip out to see us, London was a "must" see on their list, and we had it on ours as well!  We all really enjoyed the great city of London! Probably one of my favorite locations so far...I loved listening to the accents, being able to read the menu, and seeing such amazing history!! We all had so much fun! Eden was super excited about this trip because she learned a lot about London and the Olympics at summer camp last year.
We all rode the Chunnel (the train between Paris and London) which goes under the English Channel for those of you who may not know.  After the ride, she said, "Well - I was disappointed because I thought I would be able to see sharks and fish swimming," sweet girl thought it would be like a porthole...We all agreed that would have been awesome! Although I don't know how many sharks swim in the English Channel...
(On a side note, I did a bit of research and discovered that there are some sharks in the English Channel)
Had to get a typical tourist picture!

Such beautiful architecture!

Big Ben

Another tourist picture:)

So incredible!

London Eye

I wanted to ride the London Eye, but am really afraid of heights. No worries though, it moves quite slowly and I only got a little freaked out when we reached the very top! The amazing things we could see helped distract me from the height.
View from the London Eye

Another view

And another

Love this pic because we also managed to get some double deckers!!

The Tower Bridge

Kensington Gardens

Harod's...view from the tour bus only...which is probably best for the budget!!

Buckingham Palace

As close as we could get! How awesome that we got to see this!!!

It really is such a lovely city! So grateful that we got the opportunity to visit--especially with Mom and Cal!
